Price – $2.99 Bejeweled® 2

Bejeweled 2 is Pop Cap’s second version of the popular bejeweled game.  The concept is very simple you have a screen full of different color jewels that you can swap around, when you get three, or more, in a row they are destroyed and the jewels above shift down with new jewels coming on top. The more jewels you destroy the more points you get.

The Bejeweled 2 app come with 4 different modes. Classic where you move through progressively harder levels, Action where you race the clock, Endless where you can play forever with no time limits, and Blitz where you try to get the highest score possible within 60 seconds. Blitz also syncs up high scores with the Facebook version of Blitz allowing you to compare high scores against friends although the iPhone version doesn’t have all the bonuses the Facebook version does which makes it difficult to keep up score wise.

Bejeweled 2 is a classic example of casual gaming. It’s perfect for that 5 minutes when you’re waiting for a class to start or meeting to start. It’s oddly fun and more than a tad bit addictive. If you enjoy simple puzzle games Bejeweled 2 is definitely worth checking out. [click to continue…]

That’s right, the first iPhone virus has been officially detected and is spreading like wildfire, well maybe a well controlled wildfire during a rain store in the middle of the Arizona desert. This virus only effects jailbroken iPhones that have a specific program installed on them. Essentially, your only chance of getting this virus is [...]

Pizza Hut released their iPhone app three months ago and according to a press release from the company they have already breached the $1 million dollars in sales mark. That’s pretty impressive! It probably only cost them a few thousand dollars to develop the app. That’s a pretty good return on investment. Unlike the guys [...]

Thumbnail image for iPhone App Store hits 100,000 mark

Apple announced today that the iTunes app store has officially passed the 100,000 apps mark. That’s quite an achievement for any business. The first thing that comes to my mind is how many of those apps are junk apps. You know you’ve tried them. The description looks interesting so you download it and give it [...]

Ratings – 4.5 Price – $9.99 I must admit, I’m a little late on reviewing this app. I waited until the World Series started to purchase it. That alone should tell you I’m not the biggest baseball fan around. However, I did pay $9.99 just so I could watch the Yankees and Phillies slug it [...]
